Billy Bishop (YTZ) is the most convenient for Rogers Centre — just 3 miles away across the harbour. A rideshare or taxi from YTZ runs $15–25 CAD. Pearson (YYZ) is the main international hub — the UP Express connects Pearson to Union Station in 25 minutes, and Rogers Centre is a 10-minute walk from Union Station. Both airports have excellent connections.
Rogers Centre is surrounded by downtown Toronto's extensive parking garage network, including the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and adjacent structures. Rates are steep by MLB standards — $25–45 CAD. The TTC subway and GO Transit make driving genuinely optional for most fans.
Traditional tailgating isn't part of the Rogers Centre experience — it's a downtown dome surrounded by city streets. The Entertainment District bars along King St W and Front St are packed pre-game. The CN Tower and waterfront area make arriving early very worthwhile.
Union Station is an 8-minute walk from Rogers Centre and is one of North America's great transit hubs — TTC subway Line 1, all GO Transit regional rail lines, and the UP Express from Pearson Airport all converge here. Getting to a Blue Jays game by transit from anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area is genuinely easy.
Rogers Centre is in Toronto's Entertainment District, walking distance from King West bars and restaurants, the CN Tower, and the Harbourfront. If you're staying anywhere downtown, it's an easy walk. The CN Tower right next door is worth a photo before heading in.
Bike parking is available near Rogers Centre. Toronto's expanding bike lane network and the waterfront trail make cycling from King West, Queen West, or the waterfront neighborhoods a practical option.
Accessible parking is available in the Convention Centre parkade and nearby designated lots. The accessible drop-off zone is on Rees St near Gate 10. For accessibility services, contact the Blue Jays at (416) 341-1000 or visit bluejays.com/accessibility.
Rogers Centre in downtown Toronto opened in 1989 and was one of the engineering marvels of its era — the world's largest retractable roof at the time, covering a multi-purpose stadium that also hosts the CFL's Argonauts and major concerts. It holds around 49,000-53,500 for baseball depending on configuration. The artificial turf and cavernous dome interior give it a feel unlike almost anywhere else in MLB, which is either a charm or a drawback depending on your perspective.
The location is genuinely excellent — Rogers Centre sits in the heart of downtown Toronto's Entertainment District, steps from the CN Tower and within easy walking distance of the waterfront, restaurants, and hotels along King and Front Streets. Union Station transit hub is a short walk away, connecting subway, GO Transit, and UP Express to the airport. Toronto's downtown is one of the most vibrant in North America, and a Blue Jays game is a natural anchor for a day in the city.

Rogers Centre was the first stadium in North American sports with a fully retractable roof when it opened in 1989 — an engineering marvel at the time. The roof opens in about 20 minutes, and the experience of watching it retract while the Toronto skyline appears above is a genuine wow moment for first-time visitors.
