Subaru Park sits in Chester, Pennsylvania — about 15 miles southwest of downtown Philadelphia along the Delaware River — and has been home to the Philadelphia Union since 2010. The stadium holds around 18,500 fans in a purpose-built soccer venue, and while the location is more industrial waterfront than urban neighborhood, the stadium itself is a solid soccer-specific facility with good sight lines throughout.
Chester is accessible from Philadelphia via the SEPTA Media/Elwyn commuter rail line, which stops at Chester station about a 10-minute walk from the ground. The surroundings are modest, but the Union have built a strong supporter culture anchored by the Sons of Ben, who create a consistently loud atmosphere in the supporter section behind the north goal. For the quality of play and fan experience inside, Subaru Park is worth the trip from the city.

Outside drinks are not permitted.
Outside food is not permitted.
The stadium is a clear bag only venue. Guests are encouraged to limit the number of items they bring with them to the stadium.
Allowed bags include:
Prohibited bags include but are not limited to large purses, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, luggage of any kind, computer bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.
Bag check is not available.
Exceptions will be made for diaper bags and medically necessary items that do not fit into a clear bag.
Main Concourse - Philadelphia's iconic fried chicken and donut shop brings both their legendary hot chicken and creative glazed donuts to Subaru Park. The honey glazed is essential.
Supporter's Section Bar - Philadelphia's beloved craft brewery pours their Thomas Jefferson's Tavern Ale and Philly Pale Ale at Union matches. Genuinely one of the city's best craft operations.
Section 115 - South Philly's legendary cheesesteak and roast pork institution. The roast pork sandwich with sharp provolone and broccoli rabe is arguably the best thing to eat in Philadelphia.
Philadelphia Union's supporter groups — Sons of Ben and others — fill sections 134–140 at Subaru Park in a large standing section behind the south goal. The Sons of Ben are one of MLS's oldest supporter organizations, and the atmosphere they create at Subaru Park is consistently strong. Non-Union apparel is not permitted in the supporter sections.
In the Stands offers apparel for fans who enjoy visiting ballparks and stadiums. While we all have our favorite teams, there are times when they aren't the ones playing. Our goal is to create a sense of community and camaraderie whenever you see someone wearing In the Stands apparel.
