Driving & parking

Driving Tips
Take I-40 to the Charlotte Ave exit westbound, then south into the Nations neighborhood. Coming from downtown Nashville, Charlotte Ave is the most direct route. The Nations area has grown considerably — allow extra time for the last mile as the neighborhood streets get busy on match nights.
Parking Cost Estimate:
$15–$30 (on-site and nearby Nations lots)

GEODIS Park has on-site and adjacent parking in the surrounding Nations and West Nashville areas. The team operates affiliated lots nearby, and additional community lots are within a short walk. Pre-purchase online to lock in better rates. The Nations neighborhood has grown significantly around the stadium since it opened in 2022.

Tailgating
$15–$30 (on-site and nearby Nations lots)

GEODIS Park's surrounding lots and the growing Nations bar scene support a strong pre-match culture. Nashville SC's 1Hooligan supporter group creates a genuine atmosphere pre-match and in the supporter section. The Nations neighborhood's bars and breweries along 51st Ave are the main pre-game gathering spots.

Best Neighborhood to Walk From:
The Nations / West Nashville

GEODIS Park is in the Nations, one of Nashville's most rapidly developing neighborhoods. The strip along 51st Ave has numerous bars and restaurants that have grown up around the stadium. If you're staying in West Nashville or the Nations area, walking to the match is easy and the neighborhood makes it worthwhile.

Bike Parking:

Bike parking is available near GEODIS Park. Nashville's growing greenway network and the Cumberland River Greenway provide cycling connections from downtown and other neighborhoods.

rideshare

Rideshare drop-off is near the main entrance in the Nations neighborhood. Post-match, surge pricing is significant as the area clears — walking a few blocks north toward Charlotte Ave before requesting pickup reduces wait times and costs.

accessibility

Accessible parking is available in ADA-designated spaces in the affiliated lots. The accessible drop-off zone is near the main stadium entrance. For accessibility accommodations, contact Nashville SC at nashvillesc.com.

At the Game

Geodis Park opened in 2022 as the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States, seating 30,000 fans for Nashville SC matches. The venue sits in the Nations neighborhood of west Nashville and was designed to be a proper cathedral for soccer — a steep lower bowl, covered upper tiers, a dedicated standing supporter section, and acoustics built to hold crowd noise. For a club that hadn't existed a few years earlier, it's an ambitious and impressive facility.

The Nations is a neighborhood that's grown rapidly around the stadium since its opening, with new restaurants and bars following the club's presence. Getting there from downtown Nashville means a drive or rideshare — about 10 to 15 minutes — as the location is west of the city center. Nashville SC has built a genuine supporter culture quickly, and a matchday at Geodis Park has the feel of a proper European-style soccer occasion that's still somewhat rare in MLS.

SEATING

Best Seats

Lower bowl midfield sections on either side of the halfway line.

Geodis Park opened in 2022 as the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States and Canada by capacity. The lower bowl midfield sections are close to the touchline with excellent sightlines. Nashville SC’s supporter culture has grown quickly and the atmosphere in the lower bowl is strong. The stadium’s large scale means picking midfield deliberately is more important than at smaller venues.

Good Value

Upper midfield sections — be aware the upper deck is notably higher than at most MLS venues given the stadium’s large capacity.

Geodis Park’s upper bowl midfield sections offer a full elevated view of the entire pitch. Because the stadium is larger than most MLS venues, the upper deck is a more significant step up in height than at compact soccer-specific stadiums. Mid-infield sections are still the right choice, but the distance is more pronounced here than at smaller MLS parks.

Avoid These

Far upper deck corners and end goal sections — the extra stadium size makes these worse than the equivalent sections at smaller MLS venues.

Geodis Park’s larger scale means the far upper deck corners and end goal sections are more distant from the midfield action than at compact MLS venues. These sections are a real trade-off at a stadium this size. The supporter section at the south end is energetic and standing — great for atmosphere, but limited for watching the full game. Stay midfield for the best experience.

Sun

The west side of the stadium faces east and shades earlier — the east side gets more direct afternoon sun, and Nashville summer heat makes shade important.

Geodis Park is oriented with the main stand on the west side facing east. The west side benefits from shade from the upper deck earlier in the afternoon. The east side stands get more direct afternoon sun for evening kickoffs. Nashville summer heat and humidity are significant — the shaded west side is a meaningful comfort advantage for afternoon or early-evening games from June through August.

Weather

Nashville summers are hot and humid — evening kickoffs are preferable to afternoon games in July and August at this large open-air venue.

Geodis Park is a large open-air stadium with no roof. Nashville summer heat and humidity are real, and afternoon kickoffs in summer can be intense especially in the upper deck where there’s less shade. Evening games are more comfortable. Afternoon thunderstorms occur in summer. Spring and fall games in Nashville are some of the best conditions in MLS — the climate is excellent for outdoor soccer in the shoulder seasons.

Special Features

Geodis Park

Geodis Park opened in 2022 and is the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States at 30,000 capacity. The acoustic design of the stadium amplifies noise beautifully, and the supporter groups have built one of MLS's best atmospheres remarkably quickly for a relatively young club.
