Pre-purchase online to lock in better rates. The Nations neighborhood has grown significantly around the stadium since it opened in 2022.
GEODIS Park's surrounding lots and the growing Nations bar scene support a strong pre-match culture. Nashville SC's 1Hooligan supporter group creates a genuine atmosphere pre-match and in the supporter section. The Nations neighborhood's bars and breweries along 51st Ave are the main pre-game gathering spots.
WeGo bus routes along Charlotte Ave serve the Nations area with stops within walking distance of GEODIS Park. Nashville's transit options are limited — most fans drive or rideshare. Check wegotransit.com for current routes and any game-day service.
GEODIS Park is in the Nations, one of Nashville's most rapidly developing neighborhoods. The strip along 51st Ave has numerous bars and restaurants that have grown up around the stadium. Geodis Park opened in 2022 as the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States, seating 30,000 fans for Nashville SC matches. The venue sits in the Nations neighborhood of west Nashville and was designed to be a proper cathedral for soccer — a steep lower bowl, covered upper tiers, a dedicated standing supporter section, and acoustics built to hold crowd noise. For a club that hadn't existed a few years earlier, it's an ambitious and impressive facility.
The Nations is a neighborhood that's grown rapidly around the stadium since its opening, with new restaurants and bars following the club's presence. Getting there from downtown Nashville means a drive or rideshare — about 10 to 15 minutes — as the location is west of the city center. Nashville SC has built a genuine supporter culture quickly, and a matchday at Geodis Park has the feel of a proper European-style soccer occasion that's still somewhat rare in MLS.

Clear diaper bags that meet the Stadium’s bag policy specifications and accompany a child are permitted but are subject to search upon entry. Geodis Park opened in 2022 as the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States and Canada by capacity. The lower bowl midfield sections are close to the touchline with excellent sightlines. Nashville SC’s supporter culture has grown quickly and the atmosphere in the lower bowl is strong. The stadium’s large scale means picking midfield deliberately is more important than at smaller venues.
Geodis Park’s upper bowl midfield sections offer a full elevated view of the entire pitch. Because the stadium is larger than most MLS venues, the upper deck is a more significant step up in height than at compact soccer-specific stadiums. Mid-infield sections are still the right choice, but the distance is more pronounced here than at smaller MLS parks.
Geodis Park’s larger scale means the far upper deck corners and end goal sections are more distant from the midfield action than at compact MLS venues. These sections are a real trade-off at a stadium this size. The supporter section at the south end is energetic and standing — great for atmosphere, but limited for watching the full game. Stay midfield for the best experience.
Geodis Park is oriented with the main stand on the west side facing east. The west side benefits from shade from the upper deck earlier in the afternoon. The east side stands get more direct afternoon sun for evening kickoffs. Nashville summer heat and humidity are significant — the shaded west side is a meaningful comfort advantage for afternoon or early-evening games from June through August.
Geodis Park is a large open-air stadium with no roof. Nashville summer heat and humidity are real, and afternoon kickoffs in summer can be intense especially in the upper deck where there’s less shade. Evening games are more comfortable. Afternoon thunderstorms occur in summer. Spring and fall games in Nashville are some of the best conditions in MLS — the climate is excellent for outdoor soccer in the shoulder seasons.
Main Concourse - Nashville's beloved whole-hog BBQ institution brings their West Tennessee-style pit BBQ to GEODIS Park. The pulled pork sandwich with their signature sauce is a stadium must.
Section 115 - Nashville's iconic hot chicken chain with heat levels ranging from Southern to "Shut the Cluck Up." Hot chicken is Nashville's defining food and it belongs at a Nashville soccer match.
Throughout the Stadium - Nashville's pioneering craft brewery pours their Extra Easy ESB and rotating seasonal taps at GEODIS Park. Locally rooted and a good companion for Nashville soccer.
Geodis Park opened in 2022 and is the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States at 30,000 capacity. The acoustic design of the stadium amplifies noise beautifully, and the supporter groups have built one of MLS's best atmospheres remarkably quickly for a relatively young club.
Nashville SC's supporter sections 106–110 at Geodis Park form the south end standing section behind the goal. Nashville SC's supporter groups have built an impressive atmosphere in a short time, aided by the stadium's acoustics. Standing for the full 90 minutes and singing throughout is the expectation. Non-Nashville SC apparel is not permitted in the supporter sections.
In the Stands offers apparel for fans who enjoy visiting ballparks and stadiums. While we all have our favorite teams, there are times when they aren't the ones playing. Our goal is to create a sense of community and camaraderie whenever you see someone wearing In the Stands apparel.
