Providence Park in Portland, Oregon is home to both the Portland Thorns in the NWSL and the Portland Timbers in MLS — a rare and successful dual-use arrangement for a soccer-specific venue. The stadium holds just over 25,000 fans in a historic setting; the original structure dates to 1926 and has been expanded and renovated multiple times. The Thorns draw some of the highest attendances in women's soccer globally, making it one of the most significant venues for the sport.
The stadium sits in downtown Portland's Goose Hollow neighborhood, easily accessible via MAX light rail (the Jefferson Street stop is steps from the main entrance). The surrounding area has plenty of options for food and drinks before a match — Portland's restaurant and bar scene is strong throughout the downtown core. The Thorns' supporter culture, led by the Rose City Riveters, has helped set the standard for NWSL atmospheres league-wide.
Factory-sealed water bottles are permitted. Outside cans, glass bottles, and metal water bottles are not allowed. Soft-sided cooler bags are permitted for medical needs or baby items.

Clear bags up to 14" x 14" x 6" are permitted. Small clutches up to 4.5" x 7.5" are permitted. All other bags (backpacks, large purses, etc.) are not allowed. Bag check lockers available at Gates B, D, and F.
Main Concourse, Section 103 - One of Portland's most acclaimed BBQ spots brings brisket and pulled pork sandwiches inside Providence Park. Genuinely excellent by any standard, not just stadium food standards.
Main Concourse, Section 109 - Portland's beloved local pizza chain serves by the slice. The rotating specialty toppings use Pacific Northwest ingredients and are worth trying over the cheese slice.
Multiple locations - Oregon's iconic dairy cooperative brings bacon queso nachos, cheeseburgers, and mac 'n' cheese to the stadium. The Tillamook cheese touch on standard stadium items is a genuine upgrade.
Duracell Deck - A full wine bar at a soccer stadium, featuring Oregon and Washington wines from Union Wine Co. The outdoor deck setting makes this one of the most enjoyable pre-match drinks spots in the NWSL.
