SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, a southwest suburb of Chicago, is home to the Chicago Red Stars in the NWSL. The stadium was built in 2006 specifically for soccer and holds around 20,000 fans, though Red Stars matches typically draw a more intimate crowd that concentrates the atmosphere. The setting is suburban rather than urban — surrounded by parking lots rather than a walkable neighborhood.
Getting there means driving or finding a ride, as the location isn't well-served by CTA rail. That said, parking is plentiful and easy, which is a genuine advantage over many venues. The Red Stars have one of the more dedicated supporter cultures in the NWSL, and the atmosphere in the supporter sections behind the goals can be lively despite the modest surroundings.

Main Concourse - As an intimate 7,500-seat university venue, Martin Stadium's food offerings are purposefully scaled. Hot dogs, pretzels, and basic stadium snacks are the norm — the focus here is the match, not the menu.
Concourse Bars - Chicago Stars FC has brought a curated selection of Chicago-area craft beers to Northwestern's lakefront home, with Goose Island and local options typically available.
Davis Street & Central Street (10–15 min walk) - Evanston's walkable downtown has far better food options than any stadium concession. Giordano's Deep Dish, Dave's New Kitchen, and a strong coffee and bar scene along Davis St are worth arriving early for.
In the Stands offers apparel for fans who enjoy visiting ballparks and stadiums. While we all have our favorite teams, there are times when they aren't the ones playing. Our goal is to create a sense of community and camaraderie whenever you see someone wearing In the Stands apparel.
